I dont believe Volunteer could beat PV and Burton by 4 or 5 td's. They may be good, but not that good.

Would not want to pick a point spread BUT last nights Vol team would take apart last years Burton team.
I think that was the last TD and that very well may have been the case
I guess Volunteer shipped in some CA, FL, or TX team last night and had them dress, Counts. You and I have no clue what we're talking about. Too many folks on here still living in the past. Last night for me, was just further evidence of how far RD has to go to be elite again.
No doubt... feelings have been hurt, egos have been bruised. After all, Clintwood was predicted by almost everyone to win this game.

All I can say is that last night IMHO they were as good or better than the GC Championship team of a few years ago.
We are talking about Volunteer, right? The school in Church Hill, TN right?
For some reason, I find that very hard to believe.
You guys are open in week 4 have Jimbo pick them up in 09 I hope we drop them LOL
Jimbo wont leave the state.
It has nothing to do with feelings and egos. It was not even close as far as a talent and size comparison goes. Of course everyone on here has already declared the "game of the year" to be at Bullit next week, even though the majority of the PV folks I talked to at the Richlands game (including some on here) don't even think that PV will beat CW this year. I have no idea how the season will go and rarely make any bold predictions. I just know that from what I've seen from Clintwood, JIB, and PV this year and from what everyone thinks (that that's the 3 best teams in the LPD) that Volunteer would beat any of those 3 by at least 3 tds on any night. I said 5 td's earlier, but like I said Robinson playing could have given CW a score or 2.
